They say wood and stone last forever, but I think the bond we have with our dogs lasts even longer.

Recently, I had to say goodbye to my best friend, Bubba. To honor his memory, I spent some time creating this memorial piece. I used reclaimed wood for the base and etched a 6x6 tile of a photo of him from his younger days. Adding his collar was the final piece that made it feel like he’s still right here with me.

Turning a fading memory into a forever keepsake♥️

I had the honor of creating this custom piece with only a picture of a picture taken off a cellphone.

I was able to digitally restore and convert that image to laser-engrave it onto a 6” porcelain tile. To give this piece the home it deserved, I handcrafted a rustic frame using reclaimed wood to pull that timeless feel all the way through.

Whether it’s a vintage family photo or a moment you never want to forget, I’d love to help you bring it back to life.

I just finished up a second request for this custom piece and I couldn’t be happier with how the character of the wood came out!

Measuring 16” x 40”, this sign is handcrafted entirely from reclaimed pallet wood.

Every inch has been carefully crafted to preserve the unique knots and grains of the pallets. It is finished with a rich stain that brings out the best in the wood.

Someone once said to me that it must be nice getting free wood from pallets. ROTFLMAO.

That is someone who has never taken apart a pallet. These things are built to hold 2,000+ weight. They are not meant to come apart easily. Half the boards splinter. The wider end board that I really want are a bear to break apart.

So why use it? I like the aged patina and the nail holes it leaves behind. When it doesn’t splinter. And it is a decent upper body work out. LOL. I’ve got 3 more to go.

I want one of the blue or red pallets. Those get picked pretty quickly.
