Here’s a closer look at the Shadow Lugia plushie I was working on while at Too Many Games…and in between watching World Cup matches on my iPad. I had worked on trying to make one of these before but just couldn’t quite get the right fabric color that I liked for it. Often I found it was too dark or not the right color. I finally settled on this deep blue and I’m really happy with it!

It’s got a whole lot of pieces! The back spikes alone are made up of almost 2 dozen pieces of light blue fabric. It also takes a ton of hand sewing! The foot, the wings, the head, the eyes, etc. Every part has to be hand sewn on. So it takes a lot of time, but the end result is so worth it!

I am so thankful for all of the wonderful and amazing attendees from Too Many Games this past weekend! 💜 Not gonna lie, but it was a little tough pulling my eyes away from watching the World Cup so I made do with catching what I could in between moments of downtime. I may have been even more hyped up for all the matches after having gotten to attend one the day before, but I was still able to get to business and be a vendor for one of my all time favorite conventions!

The entire weekend was a huge success and I have no regrets! You all cleaned out my stock of plushies and decimated my stickers and prints. Guess I have to make even more cute things now. Thanks to everyone who stopped by whether just to look or buy something. Your support means the world to me…even more than the World Cup!

They announced a new Spyro the Dragon game and I am so excited for it! It’s been, wow, I think 20 years or so since the Year of the Dragon? Spyro was one of my favorite games as a kid right alongside Crash Bandicoot so a new game after all this time is like a dream!

I’ll just have to wait until 2027 for it, but I’m sure it’ll be well worth the wait because the game looks amazing. Until then, I’m feeling like I need to dust my marker case off and do another drawing of Spyro and maybe some other dragons too!

I watched the Pokemon Presents this morning and I am feeling the hype for Pokemon Winds & Waves! I really like the starters but I especially love Pombon! 🧡

The game looks great and I’m looking forward to it! It’s hard to believe that it is the 30th anniversary of the franchise. But it is also amazing to see how far it has come in that time from a little game on the Game Boy and a trading card game to all of the games and stuff that the have introduced in recent years. It’s amazing to see!

To celebrate Pokemon Day, I’m sharing some of my favorite Pokemon themed art projects throughout the years from plushies to marker drawings. Happy Pokemon Day all!

I just never get tired of making these adorable plush budgie keychains! I’m actually working on making some new color variations to try and catch the varied and unique looks of them. I never realized how many people had parakeets or were just general bird enthusiasts until I posted a pic of the very first one I made a while back on one of my channels and was surprised to see that.

Not that I can blame anyone because they are so cute 🥰

I don’t get much time to make any art for myself but, for once, I decided my studio needed something new and different. So I put my plush making materials down and pulled out my Perler beads!

It took a couple of hours to make this shiny Lugia sprite but it was entirely worth it! I had replayed Pokemon SoulSilver recently so Lugia seemed like a good choice. I think it’ll look great on my wall somewhere. But now I’m thinking it might need Ho-Oh too…

Today’s the day! It’s the Pokemon Market at the Bell Works in Holmdel! This is such a massive market compared to the ones that have been done in the past.

There are so many vendors around me. I believe there are over 300. I’ve seen so many things I want but I’m supposed to be working at my table 😭 Maybe I can get a moment away from the table later.
