A few of the latest woodworking projects. The boxer is for a friend of mine who used to box and is moving into a new place, the cross is for a friend that lost his dad and the baby plaque is for a colleague that just had a baby girl. Soon I will be back to oil painting. My Christmas painting usually takes a few months, so that is on my to do list!

Woodworking project to honor the Buffalo Sabre's and their next big win! 🤞I know the body is supposed to be yellow, but I didn't have any, so here you go! This is just a prototype and I'll do a bigger one for a door plaque.

Today I’m sharing something a little different from my oil paintings. I’ve been working on a couple of woodworking pieces that I wanted to show.

The first is a custom address circle with a Buffalo Bills theme (address not shown). This one will be hanging on our front door—something fun and personal to honor the Bills

The second piece is much more meaningful.
If you’ve ever experienced the loss of someone you love, this may resonate with you.

The poem “Death Is Nothing at All” by Henry Scott Holland first came to my attention through the series Love Story, during the funeral scene for Carolyn Bessette. It stayed with me—and it held deep meaning for someone very close to me.

I wanted to create something that honored that feeling for her.
This piece combines a textured frame, layered design elements, and engraved text to bring that poem to life in a way that feels both personal and lasting.

A Head Start on the Holidays!
For the first time in many years, I started my annual Christmas painting early enough to finish before the holidays — and even had time to create a second companion piece!
I wanted these 24x36” oil paintings to capture the magic of the season through the eyes of a child. 🐾
To our wonderful patients at Diversified, we’d like to share a little holiday cheer. Beginning December 1st, stop in and pick up a complimentary 8x10 print of one of these paintings — suitable for framing and our way of saying thank you for your trust and support throughout the year.

It has been a while! Here are two paintings inspired by our trip to Sicily. The first is a large 24 x 48" oil on hardboard and the other is an 18 x 24" oil on hardboard. It is really hard to describe the beauty of the motherland of our grandparents. Pictures do not do it justice.

My good friend and photographer Ron Zito, gave me permission to paint his composition. He put together a beautiful still life and I had to attmept to put it to paint! Not as beautiful as the original photo and may even have different colors than the origninal (because of my color blindness) but I really love his classic composition.
