The weight behind the dream. π€
I donβt post this side very often.
I post the tattoos, the business, my kids, hockey, the fun moments, the accomplishmentsβ¦ but thereβs a lot that happens in between those pictures.
This week I missed Connorβs first goal. And that hurt.
Iβve been trying to make more time for my friends, but then when I do, I feel guilty because I think I should be spending that time with my kids.
I want time with my husband.
I want time for myself.
I want to be present with my kids.
I want to be a good friend.
I want to be a good tattoo artist.
And I want to keep building this business that I worked so hard for.
And sometimes it feels like being there for one part of my life means Iβm taking something away from another.
Thatβs the part of chasing a dream I donβt think we talk about enough.
I love what Iβve built. I love being a mom. I love my family. I love my career. I wouldnβt trade this life.
But loving the life you created doesnβt mean you never feel overwhelmed by the weight of carrying it.
Some weeks I balance it pretty well.
Some weeks I donβt.
And this was one of those weeks. π€
