I know I have been MIA lately, but there are some BIG changes happening! Please be sure to “like” this page and follow along for the art offerings I (Richelle) will be teaching 🙂. We open in 3 weeks, and we are offering a GREAT summer art membership for kids!

I have wanted to combine a and a for a while now, but didn’t quite know how to go about it. Last week while in shavasana, I got step by step directions on how to do this, as well as the image that I should paint. Art and yoga go together SO WELL. I think a feel a workshop coming on. 😉

Last night I had a paint night at Gocara . Every time I host one of these, I always encourage the class to do what feels right to them. My example is just a suggestion, but if they are called to go in a different direction, I ask them to please go with it. Last night, for the first time almost everyone took me up on it. My heart is so full of love with how amazing these turned out. I had such a wonderful group of people, such an amazing night ❤️❤️ (ps some of these are progress pics)

Gocara will be closed next week for spring break. All regularly scheduled classes will NOT take place during the week. The mandala work shop on Wednesday and Rustic Paint night Friday WILL be on, and I really hope to see you there!

Today in Pint Sized Picasso’s, we created 4 collaborative paintings. The children started with one canvas each, we listened to music and set a timer for 5 minutes, when the timer was up, they had to pass the canvas to the right. I told them they could not talk about what they wanted their painting to be, but had to imagine what the original artist had in mind and go from there. I love how different each painting ended up 👨🏻‍🎨👩🏻‍🎨 Gocara

I am opening the studio tonight to anyone that wants to come and make art or hang out. I will be there from 6-9(ish). Want to paint? Come paint. Want to draw? Come draw! Want to crochet? Want to color? What ever your creative outlet is, we have the space, come create with us! (No “art skills” required, everyone is an artist!)
