This large scale model displays how the real Ark may have been designed and organized. Many of the pieces were digitally sculpted and 3D-printed.

The model shows that the Ark had adequate space to meet the needs of the people and animals on board:
• Living and working space for eight people
• Enclosures to house nearly 7,000 animals and systems to care for them
• Practical short ramps near bow and stern with steeper inclines between floors
• Large cisterns to store and supply potable water

We’re all related. While we all can all be traced back ultimately to Adam and Eve, Noah’s sons all bore the DNA of Noah and his wife. Together, their DNA and that of their wives generated humanity’s entire genome.

Last week in Kentucky, the home state of Answers in Genesis, the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum, a State Trooper named Hayden Phillips was shot and killed in the line of duty during a routine traffic stop (after an extensive manhunt, the perpetrator was arrested and is being charged with murder).

In honor of Trooper Phillips, we lit up the full-size Noah’s Ark in blue through this past weekend.

At our attractions, we have a world-class public safety team, many of whom are former law enforcement. Our chief of public safety sent this to us regarding the blue Ark:

“Answers in Genesis, the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum would like to extend our prayers to the family of Trooper Hayden Phillips. We’ve lit up the Ark in law enforcement colors in honor of Trooper Phillips and all those who serve behind the badge.”

Please be praying for Trooper Phillips’ family, especially his wife and three young children, after this horrible tragedy.
