Here is the line up of events in Williamsport for the evening. The bakery will be open until 8pm, so come on in and grab some snacks, slushies and sweets for the festivities.
I mean...we are just a short walk away!

Our final senior spotlight is one of our drummers, Jack!

Jack wrote, “I have been playing drumset since 3rd grade, and started concert percussion in 4th grade. Since then, I have been in all-county band and orchestra and performed with outside honor bands. At Williamsport High School, I participated in both large and small ensembles, and I was selected for the Solo and Ensemble Festival Honors Recital the last two years. I have been drum captain and a section leader for the past three years. I have played with the Community Band for almost four years, and I have been a part of the community jazz band for a year as well. This has given me exposure to more challenging situations that have helped me to grow as a musician. I plan on attending Gettysburg College with majors in music and computer science, and I plan to participate both in the marching band and other ensembles. My favorite part of the band is playing difficult music in high-level ensembles.”

Congratulations on your achievements, Jack, and good luck in your future endeavors!!

Our Third Senior Spotlight is , our piano player!

Ryan said “I’m Ryan and I am committed to the University of North Texas for their Jazz Studies program. I have enjoyed playing jazz in all of the performances that I have been a part of over the years and can’t wait to grow and increase my skills and love for the music. My end goal is to be a producer for a record label and to produce and co-write songs for other artists, I hope to make a impact on the world of popular music and influence the way that the masses listen to music. I love being a part of such a loving and fun band that is always there to have a good time and play great music, I hope the spirit of this band follows me on my musical journey.”

At least 109 groups are expected to participate in the 2026 Sharpsburg Memorial Day parade on Saturday, May 23. Early forecast has potential rain.
