BEGINNING PLAYWRITING BOOTCAMP!!

The bootcamp will meet on Zoom
February 20-24 (Monday-Friday)
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern (4-6 pm Pacific)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s time to make a NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION to work on your play, start a new play, or finish what you’ve been working on! To help you, my January class is NOW ENROLLING!

In January we will be offering a 4-week virtual course at just $100! This class will meet for 2-hours each week from January 8 and January 31.

Recently, we have been meeting on Sundays at 12:30 ET, but I am happy to add another session if enrollment permits and schedules demand!

And remember, you can always give the gift of playwriting to a friend, and avail of a multi-playwright discount!

Thornhill Theatre Space is seeking submissions for short (10-20) play or musical scripts to be adapted into an original TikTok series.

There are no genre specifics attached and we are very excited to read all types of stories.

“We at TTS have been championing new writing since our start in 2020 and are so very excited to open submissions again for a new original project that will allow us to read some amazing new writing,” stated TTS Artistic Director Ryan Thornhill.

“As we continue to navigate the world of digital theatre, we feel that continually thinking outside the box is key and we are very excited to take the leap and create something for the TikTok platform,” Thornhill continued.

As of now, we will collect submissions for the next month or so, with a deadline to be announced at a later date.

❄️In 2020 Theatre Off-Kilter was born, in the middle of a pandemic that shuttered our whole industry. We are incredibly proud that we’ve been able to continue making art. And we are grateful to the family of artists that have gathered to work with us. SNOWFLAKES is a 2020 holiday card, of sorts, from some of those artists to you.
As you will see in tonight’s short show—right around 30 minutes or so—our Theatre Off-Kilter family is a beautiful and diverse bunch. SNOWFLAKES is a beautiful representation of the principals on which Theatre Off-Kilter was built—it’s clever, it is funny, it is moving, and it is thoughtful. To make this show happen, we simply asked our family to think about the holidays, and to send us a video—these are what we got. There are poems, songs, and stories—both fictional and true.
