Contemporary Abstract artist. I use alcohol ink, acrylic, mixed media and anything else I can get my hands on. I provide the painting supplies, space & fun!

I offer unique one of a kind artwork, murals, & workshops. Art connects us to ourselves, each other, and the world around us. There are a couple of things that I need to let you know before you attend a sip & paint workshop: Bring your own drinks, cups, snacks! Payment is due at booking through Venmo - put PAINT NIGHT in the comment section $40 per person my last 4 digits of my phone is 2254 for verification
2. I will have you wash your hands upon arriving at the studio.
3. To help prevent excess fuzz floating in the air and landing in your painting, I will have you use a lint roller on your clothing.
4. Wear something you don't mind getting paint on, tie hair back, don't wear long necklaces or if you do, tuck them in your shirt. I will have disposable aprons available.
5. You will need to leave your painting for at least 24 hours for drying time and schedule a pickup time at your event.
6. Have fun with it! Let it flow!

I'm grateful to be a part of this show at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center with other great local artists! Opening reception will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 pm and the show will run through October 9th.

Part of the proceeds will go to the United Way. You get great art and help a great cause at the same time!

Intersecting Moments

Being sentsitive to surrounding energies is something I have always dealt with even before I recognized that it was. Whether that is just the environment or the people in it. Big cities can feel a bit overwhelming especially with the fast paced traffic! But sometimes it's good to stop and pay attention. You can feel that each city has a rhythm, a heartbeat with thousands of smaller intersecting moments that flow like a well choreographed dance that ends up just being the locals daily routine. There's beauty in the people, the shops, the movement, the sounds all moving in the background. This piece is a little tribute to those that love life in big cities.

I had a customer purchase the first piece at a show and requested a second commissioned piece to match.

Since the first frame was unique and vintage I couldn't find another one like it so the clients made a frame to match. It turned out beautifully!

Since I made the first one a few years ago it was a little difficult to match the colors exactly. And with alcohol inks it is even trickier to match if you aren't creating them at the same time.

She wanted more of a sunrise over the mountains feel with the second one and ended up loving it a little more than the first!

While I feel creating commissioned artwork has more pressure surrounding it to get it just right, the results can be just as rewarding. I do love to see their faces light up and seeing their love and appreciation of the work that went into it makes my face light light up.

Consider supporting your local artists instead of big box store art. I guarantee it'll be more rewarding for both.
