Step into a tropical garden filled with hundreds of butterflies flying all around you — bright blues, bold oranges, unreal colors from species across the globe.

Then wander into the Bug Zoo, where you’ll find giant tarantulas, fascinating beetles, and even frogs from around the world.

It’s colorful, hands-on, slightly creepy, and surprisingly magical. 🦋🐛

Busy bodies! Butterflies are 'solar powered' and can be found browsing the flowers when the garden is at a tropical temperature. Find your favorite busy butterfly with family and friends and learn how you can help the ones in your community.

Deroplatys dessicata, the dead leaf mantis. Majestic defense posture! We rarely get to see this, because the giant mantis are cared for daily and they get to know us and our faces. Thanks to the education staff who capture so many candid moments like this one!

Beetle Booties! Lol. Seriously, 25% of all known species living on this planet are beetles, including fireflies, stag beetles and these cuties, called Blue Feigning Death beetles. Come meet amazing beetles, butterflies, bees and yes, even birds!
