One of my students asked me what my favorite color was, then thoughtfully used it in this drawing of me as her art teacher. She was so proud to give it to me, and it made my day. 💜

It’s a sweet reminder that art gives children a way to show kindness, express appreciation, and encourage others. We’re so happy to support that through Pocket Museum, giving young artists opportunities to share their creativity and brighten someone’s day throughout our community. 🎨

✨ Open https://app.pocketmuseum.co
✨ Use the trail map to find our founding locations.
✨ Visit each Pocket Museum, enjoy the artwork, and find its Pocket Code.
✨ Tap “Enter Pocket Code” at that location in the app to mark your visit.

Complete all 9 stops by November 30 to unlock the raffle entry form for a chance to win gift cards from participating businesses! One entry per person.

📱 Keep the app handy on your phone:

• Android: Open the link in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, then “Add to Home Screen” or “Install app.”

You can also use it right in your browser!

And here’s a sneak peek at our Pocket Museum starter binders! ❤️💛💙 Each includes a trail map and three founding artist cards, with room for your collection to grow. Ordering details are coming soon—you don’t need a binder to take the challenge!

Who’s ready to explore?

I brought Eliana and Anthony to Dolly Day at Point 5 Williamsburg to paint rocks, and they each found their own Dolly inspiration.🎨

Eliana painted a Coat of Many Colors rock, and Anthony made one that says “Working 9 to 5.” I loved seeing what they came up with! Thank you, Point 5, for such a fun afternoon. 💕

Look what showed up on my phone!

We’re putting together a Pocket Museum web app to make exploring the trail even more fun. It’s still a work in progress, but I couldn’t resist sharing this little preview. 🎨

We hope you can make it to Point 5 Williamsburg on September 25 for Dolly Day! 📚💜 Bring a new or gently used children’s book to help fill local little libraries and share the joy of reading with kids in our community. We love seeing one of our Pocket Museum hosts bring people together for such a lovely cause!

🦋 DOLLY DAY BOOK DRIVE 🦋

In honor of Dolly Parton and her love of getting books into the hands of children, we’re collecting gently used and new children’s books to donate to local Little Free Libraries! 📚

DOLLY DAY • SEPTEMBER 25

Help us spread a little Dolly-inspired reading joy!

About 3 years ago, Charlie wore a “Future Artist” shirt. Today, he painted his first rainbow in color order.

Watching him discover the joy of making art reminds me why Pocket Museum exists: every young artist deserves to feel proud of what they create. 🎨
