🧪🔬 Our Mad Scientist Night was SO much fun, we had to bring the science experiments BACK! 🧪💚

Here's a little behind-the-scenes look at all the fun we had in our Mad Scientist Lab! The kids had an absolute blast experimenting, mixing, creating, and discovering! 🥼✨

They loved it so much that we're bringing the science fun to our Halloween Parents' Night Out on October 23rd! 🎃👻

But this time, we're checking into Hotel Transylvania, where our little guests will be mixing magical potions, making ooey-gooey monster slime, and enjoying a night full of spooky surprises!

Think hands-on fun, messy experiments, lots of laughter, and memories they'll be talking about long after the night is over!

🎟️ Only a few spots left! Don't let your little monsters miss out on this one!

Girl, is it THAT serious?! 😂✂️

YES. YES, IT IS! 🎃🤣

This month, our Sewing Club girls are making their very own Halloween costumes, and clearly, they are NOT playing around!

Listen, whatever you gotta do to get it done, GET IT DONE! 😂👏🏽 If that means climbing on top of the cutting table to get the perfect cut, then so be it! Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do when you have a vision!

I love seeing how seriously these girls take their projects. The creativity, determination, and confidence are everything! And honestly, I love that they take ownership of what they're creating. 💕

🧛‍♂️ CHECKING IN: HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA! 🏨🎃If you missed our Mad Scientist Lab, you definitely don’t want to miss this one!...

These are the moments I LOVE. 🥹🧵💕

Sharing a few proud moments from Sewing Club this month because these girls have been WORKING!

Our girls who are just beginning their sewing journey made their own tote bags, while our more advanced girls took on Sherpa quarter-zip pullovers. And the PRIDE when they finished! 😭👏🏽

One thing I see a lot in Sewing Club is doubt.

“Can I really make that?”
“This looks hard.”
“I don’t know if I can do it.”

And sometimes I have to remind them: I would never give you a project I didn’t believe you were capable of making.

Sometimes I see what they’re capable of before they see it themselves.

And then comes my favorite part—the moment they finish. 🥹 Some are beaming from ear to ear. Some can’t believe they actually made it. And some put that Sherpa on and immediately feel like the coolest girl in the room. 😎

That’s why Sewing Club is about so much more than sewing.

Yes, they’re learning how to use a sewing machine, follow patterns, construct garments, problem-solve, and build their skills. But they’re also learning to trust themselves, work through the hard parts, and discover that they’re capable of doing things they once thought were too difficult.

And THAT is the part I’m most proud of. 💕🧵✂️

You probably wouldn’t believe me if I didn’t have the video to prove it. 🥹🧵

She’s 8 years old and she made this Sherpa quarter-zip herself.

She started sewing with me when she was 7, and after almost a year of learning, practicing, making mistakes, taking things apart, trying again, and building her confidence… THIS is what she can do. 👏🏽

But one of my favorite things about watching her grow is seeing how much she inspires the other girls in the studio.

They watch her sew. They see what she’s making. And you can almost see the confidence click: “If she can do it, I can do it too.”

And THAT is powerful.

She’s showing other kids that sewing isn’t something they have to wait until they’re older to learn. They are capable right now.

And yes, that’s me screaming and cheering in the background. 😂🙌🏽 I will ALWAYS be their biggest cheerleader when it comes to sewing, creating, trying something new and realizing just how capable they are. I want them to be proud of what they create, because I’m definitely going to make sure they know how proud I am of them.

She didn’t just make a cute sweatshirt. She learned how to follow instructions, work through problems, use sewing equipment, handle fabric, install a zipper, and turn pieces of fabric into something she can actually wear.

At EIGHT. 🥹

This is why I love teaching kids how to sew. They’re learning a skill they can carry for the rest of their lives, but they’re also building patience, independence, problem-solving skills and confidence.

Sometimes all another little girl needs to see is someone her age doing something amazing to realize, “I can do that too.” 🪡✨

Whimsy has always had a place in my wardrobe. ✨
I love clothes that are playful, unexpected, colorful, and maybe even a little ridiculous. 😂 So yes, when I saw a pair of pants covered in mallard ducks, naturally I thought… CUTE. 🦆
My friend gave me the side-eye, but I knew once I styled them, they were going to be GOOD.
That’s the fun of whimsical fashion. It doesn’t have to be serious. It doesn’t have to make sense to everybody else. Sometimes you wear the ducks simply because the
ducks make you happy. 😂
And honestly, getting dressed is a lot more fun that way. 🦆✨

When we say Parents’ Night Out, we mean so much more than simply dropping the kids off for a few hours. 💕✨

Our nights are intentionally designed to give kids an experience that is interactive, immersive, creative, and SCREEN-FREE.

📵 No sitting around watching TV.
📱 No phones or tablets keeping them occupied.

Instead, they’re talking, laughing, creating, playing, moving, imagining, experimenting, learning, and making new friends.

Every Parents’ Night Out is different, but you can expect:

✨ Hands-on activities that encourage creativity and imagination
🧠 Experiences that get them thinking, asking questions, and learning something new
🎲 Games that get them up, moving, laughing, and interacting with one another
🍕 Dinner—whether it’s pizza, Chick-fil-A, or something that fits the theme
🥤 Kid-friendly drinks and snacks
🎨 A fully planned theme with activities designed around the experience
💬 Plenty of opportunities to communicate, collaborate, and just be KIDS

Our Mad Scientist Laboratory was the perfect example. They didn’t just hear about science—they put on their lab coats and goggles, stepped into the laboratory, experimented, made discoveries, asked questions, and got their hands right in the middle of it.

That’s what we want Parents’ Night Out to feel like.

Not just something to keep them busy.

An experience they’re excited to tell you about when you pick them up. ❤️

Because while the parents get a night out… the kids should get one too. 🧪✨

And we’re already planning the next one! 👀

Make sure you’re signed up for our newsletter because we’ll be announcing our October Parents’ Night Out theme soon! We’re creating another fully immersive experience, and this is one the kids are going to LOVE. 🎃✨

Trust us—you’re going to want to see what we have planned.
