Hey everyone & Merry Christmas from the Both of us! We had the opportunity to sneak away to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this year during their 2024 Annual “Christmas Town” event. While there we saw these new for 2024 performances of, “Wisemen” and “Celtic Christmas Trio” both Trios featuring singing while Celtic Christmas additionally offers Celtic Dance. In their Italy section of the park, the Il Teatro di San Marco Theatre hosted “Wisemen” while “Celtic Christmas” was featured on the stage just outside the Abbey Stone Theatre in their Ireland section. Hey everyone! I hadn’t realized this show would not be returning in 2024 when I filmed this final performance of "Charlie Brown's Pirate Adventure" in 2023… found on the PEANUTS™ Showplace Stage in the Planet Snoopy section of Dorney Park located in Allentown, PA.
This cute show is a great way for little tikes to get excited about seeing Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus & JT in this interactive show. I love how the character voices are spot on and how there are a lot of lines thrown in that bring back memories to the original cartoon series. The outfits are fitting and Charlie Brown really steals the show!
The show starts out with Charlie Brown wanting to pretend to be pirates with his friends Lucy, Linus & JT by giving them each pirate-like duties. When it's time to assign a special duty to Lucy, she is at first delighted to be assigned a special task. But what puts Lucy beside herself with disgust once she finds out what the task is? You'll have to watch to find out!

Big Thunder Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, Orlando, Florida, will be closing in 2025 to get refurbished, likely a total retracking / rebuilding in some cases. This news comes on the heels of D23’s announcement of a neighboring Cars attraction for the area, a likely sync-up of construction timelines.
Here’s us taking our final ride of the 2024 season on “Big Thunder Mountain” before it’s 2025 closure for refurbishment. I broke out my 360º GoPro to capture the experience for this POV. Enjoy!
