The 2025-26 MDHSRA Season is a wrap! I came into this season with the only goal to get better each rodeo. With having Gunsmokes Feature "Banjo" taking on the full load starting the 2nd half of the season, I just wanted to expose him to the rodeo life and get him more comfortable each run!

Banjo & I ended the season 3rd Overall JH Cowgirl in Pole Bending & Goat Tying, Qualifying us for the National Junior High Finals Rodeo. We also finished 5th overall in Barrel Racing.

It was a windy and chilly weekend at the MDHSRA JBarW Spring Rodeo. Banjo held it down all weekend while Rowdy continued to re-learn the ropes of being hauled!

Performance #1
Goat Tying - 2nd Place
Pole Bending - NT (Cut in early causing a broken pattern)
Barrel Racing - 3rd Place

What a tough weekend full of tough competition at the Keystone Legacy Rodeo 2026! Banjo & Rowdy traveled up to PA with me, but Banjo carried the workload for the weekend due to the events running tightly together.

Pole Bending
*Finished 5th in the Weekend Average Out Of 41 Amazing JH Ladies*
1st Performance - 12th (had a rough start but recovered well)
2nd Performance - 10th (New PR! 22.759)

Barrel Racing
*Finished 19th in the Weekend Average Out Of 45 Amazing JH Ladies*
1st Performance - 25th (Tried a New Direction, Gunna need more practice)
2nd Performance - 22nd (Rider Errors cost us)

Goat Tying

What an incredible weekend both Banjo & Rowdy had! The Boots & Blooms Multi-State Rodeo was an incredible rodeo for me and my boys!

Rowdy did great on day 2 with Goat Tying even though he reeeaaallly wanted to sniff the goat! Banjo gave us another new team PR in Pole Bending with a 23.67! And then he laid down a little faster barrel time but I had a few rider errors which cost us some time! So proud of this team and I can't wait to see what these next few rodeos have in store for us!
