Congratulations to the top scoring groups from our April 2026 competition event last weekend at Splitrock Resort in the Poconos; students from the 5 Star Dance Academy group “Wings” produced the highest group score of the competition and were awarded a $500 cash prize. Students from Back Mountain Dance Studio’s Senior Jazz Group “LeFreak” were the 2nd highest scoring group, B.U.Studios produced the 3rd highest group scores (tie) “Sign Of The Times & Sweet Dreams, the 4th highest group score went to (tie) “Young Entertainers” (Back Mountain) and “Rescue” (5 Star) and the 5th place score went to “In My Head” (B.U. Studios). All members of the top scoring groups received medals as well as a special studio trophy. Congratulations to all on a successful competition weekend. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 💫

Along with our High Score “Junior” (ages 10-12) and “Mini” Award (ages 8-9), we recently introduced the High Score ”Tiny” Award (ages 3-5, 6-7). Those winners last weekend at our April 2026 competition event at Splitrock Resort in the Poconos were; the high score Tiny group award went to “Sizzle”, while the high score Mini award went to “High Energy” from Back Mountain Dance Studio and the high score Junior award went to “Hide & Seek” from B.U. Studios. All received a large trophy and special medals to all group members. Congratulations to all schools on a successful competition weekend. 🏆💫

At our recent April 2026 competition event last weekend at Splitrock Resort, a special award of acknowledgement for “Technical Excellence” was awarded to 5 Star Dance Academy for their choreography in the lyrical category. High Score Duo winners from our recent April 2026 competition event at Splitrock Resort were: In the Junior division- 3rd place high score duo was Sophia Galdino & Jaslene Misas, 2nd place was Tristan & Jasmine Cummings, and the 1st place highest scoring junior duo of the competition went to Javier Rosado & Savannah Ohm.

Our top solo scores are divided between the Tiny (ages 3-7) Junior (ages 8-12) and Senior (ages 13+) divisions and those high score recipients were;

In the Tiny division- 5th place (tie) Stella Borzell, Harper Stavish, 4th place Peryn Brown, 3rd place Ariela Tomcho, 2nd place Jolene Hogan and the 1st place Tiny Champion was Isla Lizbinski. 💫

In the Junior division- 5th place Sophia Galdino, 4th place Savannah Ohm, 3rd place place Jasmine Cummings, 2nd place Hayden Rinehimer and the 1st place/Junior Champion was Tristan Cummings with a beyond perfect score of 200.9💫

In the Senior division- 5th place (tie) Koa Pruzinsky, Giada Curmaci, 4th place Mikayla Powell, 3rd place (tie) Dominique Ferraro, Jacelyn Raharjo, 2nd place Jasilyn Perez with a beyond perfect score of 202.5 and the 1st place/Senior Champion was Mason Rinehimer also with a beyond perfect score (203.9) 💫

The Photogenic Title winner from our recent April 2026 competition event at Splitrock Resort was Jack Beaudoin. First place award winners in each age division were; Jack Beaudoin* (ages 3-5), Aria Jacome (ages 6-7), Julianna Lacey (ages 8-9), Winnie Mlinscek (ages 10-12), Arabella Sullivan (ages 13-15), Bailey Carl (ages 16-19) and Tara Noon (ages 20+). All first place recipients received a trophy and special sash, and a crown to the title winner. Congratulations to all.
