So I just had the wildest realization, someone hearted my last post on this page and it is from exactly 2 years ago! I'm stunned! Where does time go!
I finally did pull together that Luffy cosplay and even entered it in to a local cosplay contest! Thanks to for making my very nervous performance look cool in the video ad for this year's contest! Can't wait for April 12th!
I haven't done much else in the way of cosplay because a lot has been going on with my health but I finally got a Celiacs and POTS diagnosis! So I'm on the path to figure it out.
The biggest update I have is that I dove head first in to polymer clay again and now have a small jewelry business called Trippie Hippies! ( )
It started with trying to replicate gemstones with clay to now I incorporate real crystals in to my pieces! My styles always evolving and I'm really hitting my stride with the nature vibe and mixing the clay with real stones. I hope to some day expand further in to metal work and make everything from scratch.
Alongside dipping back in to the clay I also found the fun of crystalizing bones. I only use ethically sourced animal bones I get from trusted vendors at pow wows or already finished taxidermy works. So far I've only done a few things as these cost more to finish. I've done a few deer skulls, a coyote skull and some antler wall hangs. Two of my deer creations are in local businesses which is such an honor! I'm trying to finish a full deer head mount fantasy refurb and a few other cool pieces before May 17th & 18th as that's when we'll be vending Paracon!
Also, my spouse and I have worked to become level 2 Reiki practitioners and are working towards master and master teacher. We also are going to be doing crystal singing bowl sound baths along side our Reiki practice. We want to spread love and healing energy because the world could really use it right now. Which is why every piece of jewelry and every piece of art I do is blessed and infused with healing Reiki energy!
