Per this morning's water sample testing conducted by the Lake County Health Department, 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲-𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴.

All beach activities, including swimming, may now resume as normal.

As we head into Labor Day weekend, we have a few important reminders for our Wildwood residents and visitors:

🏢 𝗪𝗣𝗗 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟳
The Wildwood Park District office will be 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 for Labor Day.

If you’re planning to go boating on Gages Lake and need a 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗸𝗲𝘆 (𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆), or if you plan to utilize our parks and need a 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿, please stop by the office 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 to take care of these needs.

Beginning in September, our office reverts back to regular non-summer office hours and is 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵. Our regular non-summer office hours are 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆–𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟵:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠–𝟰:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠.

The Gagewood Lions Club was chartered in 𝟭𝟵𝟱𝟵, and for more than six decades, they have been serving the Wildwood/Gages Lake community through countless projects and generous contributions.

If you look around Wildwood, you'll see the 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼 on so many things that make our parks and community better:
🏛️ 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸: Playground equipment, picnic shelter, Little Free Library, and most recently the 2026 ADA paved path

The Lions Club's main focus is supporting 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱, 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and other important community needs. ❤️

Events like the Pig Roast help make it possible for the Gagewood Lions Club to continue giving back so generously to Wildwood and our surrounding community.

Our 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 theme is all about finding fun and meaningful ways to move your body, take care of yourself, and make wellness part of your everyday routine. And as summer winds down, there’s no better time to carry those healthy habits into fall!

🍁 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 is a great way to keep moving while also giving your mind a chance to slow down and recharge. This restful, calming class combines stretching and strengthening exercises to help improve 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴.
