Last call for dance team tryouts! If you have a dancer interested in participating on dance team this year, please arrive at 12:10 we start promptly at 12:15 on Friday, August 14th.

Dancers must be 9+ and have dance or studio experience. We encourage our dancers to be enrolled in additional classes to help build their skills through the season.

Our 26-27 theme is Out of this World!

Take a break from Earth and join us May 1st for a spectacular spacey recital. It will be, out of this world.

***Students must be registered by October 15th to participate in recital! Our instructors and students put so much time and energy into recital and it’s important for our students to get as much class time as possible before the big day. Your students will have more performance opportunities by joining early and putting in the early season work. Don’t wait, register now! We can’t wait to see you there!

Our studio now has Pilates!! WDS would like to welcome Emily Harris to the studio! she’s taken over the ballet room and will be offering group and individual mat and reformer Pilates sessions! Emily is a phenomenal Pilates instructor.

Now you can schedule your own session through Emily while your kids are dancing their little hearts out.

While we wait, a few little fun facts about recital…

Did you know, in our “Welcome to the Circus” recital our Sassy Silver Senior Circus Showstoppers were not supposed to go on early and wander the stage, they got lost 🤷🏼‍♀️

Did you know, recital prep starts in November?

Did you know, Miss Kinzie does all costume alterations?

Did you know it takes 5 stage hands to get the mats in and out efficiently?

Did you know all of our instructors choreograph their recital numbers and spend approximately 25 hours teaching, practicing, reviewing, and editing each dance number?

Recital is such a fun part of our dance season. Come join us and see the magic of recital yourselves.
