Welcome back our favorite M.C. Comedy Rock Geek Mikey Mason! Mikey will be the Master of Ceremonies for Anime Fest Wichita as well as performing at the Murder Mystery, joining in on panels and doing a Comedy Rock show both Saturday and Sunday. Plus don't forget to join him Sunday Morning for "Saturday Morning Cartoons" where we will watch retro cartoons and provide milk and cereal for all our guests.

After 21 years, the series finale of Anime Festival Wichita is upon us. Celebrate over two decades of fun with a lineup of otaku DJs taken from the best of AFWs past and hours of genre bending anime dance music!

We love working with BadAsh Cosplay. Ash will be joining us yet again this year as Cosplay Coordinator. Not only has she been a major part of the convention scene here in the mid west but she runs cosplay for a number of conventions and events. Here at A.F.W. She put together 3 days of Cosplay competitions and events with a major cosplay event each day. Friday will be the "Iron Cosplay Competition" at 7:30 pm. On Saturday is one of our biggest events the "Craftsmanship Cosplay Contest" at 5:30pm. Finally on Sunday at 2:30pm will be the "Cosplay Showcase and Talent Show". All events will be happening on the main stage. If you are interested in competing in any of the cosplay you can sign up on the website or if room is available at the convention.

Super excited to announce the return of Children Of Proteus. It has been awhile since our fishey friends moved over seas to continue their adventures as Cosplayers and Content and Comic Book creators. They are ALWAYS a blast and we are pleased they will be joining us at this special AFW before we turn things over to the new crew. You can catch them at the "Murder Mystery" on Friday, at their booth and at various panels through out the weekend!

Another show announcement for 2026! The return of "Idols Coming Together". Last years "Dance Idol" was a hit and this year we have 14 groups coming together to do one giant Dance Troupe Show on Sunday on the main stage at Anime Festival Wichita! More announcements are on the way!!!

Time for another Guest announcement for AFW2026! We're pleased to be bringing back Kevin M Connolly to AFW! That's right, Kain Fuery in Fullmetal Alchemist, Pell from One Piece, Vladimir in League of Legends, AWACS Bandog in Ace Combat 7, Heathcliff from Sword Art Online, and more!
Kevin M Connolly is a Los Angeles based award winning actor who has worked in theater, voice over, and Tv/Film professionally since 1992. Born in Tucson AZ, raised in San Antonio TX, he discovered acting in high school his sophomore year, ending with winning Best Actor in the Sate of Texas by his senior year. He continued on to receive his BA in Theater Arts at the University of the Incarnate Word with fellow actor Ricardo Chavira (Desperate Housewives). His education continued in Englad and Ireland, culminating in obtaining his MFA in Acting the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television. He began his voice over career at Crunchyroll, & has worked with numerous anime studios since including ADV Films, Bang Zoom Ent, and Dubbing Bros. He he continues to perform in various voice over projects including commercials, video games, and hundreds of audio books.
