Hello flow friends, family, and wanna be flowmies! 👋🏼 Phlox crew here with some updates, reminders, and good information for all of our community-rather you’ve been flowing with us for years or want to begin your flow journey this year!
First, I want to say thank you to everyone for your patience and continued support as we have tried to continue growing after the difficult loss of Sug. He was, for many of us, the glue that held this community together. Continuing his legacy has been an emotional roller coaster for us all and sorting the responsibilities he once held to keep the community thriving has been difficult to say the least.
Now to get into it:
•How do I get in involved with Final Friday?
•Do I have to go to Spin Jam to spin at Final Friday?
•Does Phlox host any weekly spins?
•Can I become a Phlox member?
How do I get in involved with Final Friday?
-It’s a simple conversation with one of the phlox members. Final Friday is not a closed fire circle, although there are some rules that we have to go over with anyone that’s wanting to light up with us downtown.
Do I have to go to Spin Jam to spin at Final Friday?
-No. Although this use to be a rule/ guideline in the past, Spin Jam is not ran by or affiliated with Phlox. While going is still encouraged for community involvement and growth, it doesn’t affect spinning at Final Friday. We encourage anyone that wants to host a spin jam to do so! It just gives the community more opportunities to get together, trade knowledge, and be involved.
Does Phlox host any weekly spins?
-Not at the moment. This is something that we all want but has proven difficult for any one of us to hold full responsibility of with work, life, and kids taking priority. We are currently trying to come up with a schedule for Phlox to host a homie flow day in the near future though.
Can I become a Phlox member?
-Maybe! As of right now, we are on the hunt for a few responsible, dependable, multi prop skilled performers to be affiliates as needed for gig coverage/ whenever called upon. We would like to host an official member tryout later in the season.
Signed with blood, sweat, soot, and tears,
Tyler, Bones, Jeremy, Jess, Star, Sour
