Sharing the joy of dance since 1974! Founded in 1974, Amira Dance Productions is Wichita's longest-running, community dance studio, offering various cultural dance styles. A veteran- and women-owned business, we offer dance classes and have amazing and beautiful entertainment options for your next event. Our basics classes are in bellydance, Improvisational Transnational Style, FatChangeBellyDance

®Style (formerly known as American Tribal Style®), and hula hoops. We also offer classes in ballroom, Bollywood and Polynesian dance styles, as well as stretching and Zumba fitness classes and in Middle Eastern rhythms. ADP also offers choreography and performing troupe classes in the various dance styles it offers. Classes may be taken by drop-in or monthly enrollment. A new 8 week session of Contemporary Bellydance Basics begins Wednesday May 1st at 5:30pm at Amira Dance Productions .

This session will start with our basic dance posture and dance vocabulary, while also learning to decipher rhythms in Arabic music. You will begin to feel comfortable making small dance combinations to music.

This class is open to any beginning student, but will also be fun and challenging to existing dance students.

This class will close to new students May 1st, as it is a structured two month course. The next session will start July 3rd.
