Built in 1922 and designed by architect John Eberson, the Orpheum Theatre is the first atmospheric theatre built in the United States. We are pleased to welcome Denise Wickham to the Orpheum Theatre team as our part-time executive assistant. Denise has led a successful career as a professional executive assistant, capping her tenure at Berry Companies before retiring. She then turned to non-profits as she enjoys volunteering and recently served on the Wichita Symphony Board of Directors . She was also previously an administrative assistant at Wichita Festivals.

Since starting at the Orpheum in April, Denise has already made an impressive impact with her professionalism, expertise, and fun personality. Denise shared, "the opportunity to work in this historic landmark theatre, and to help support its beautiful restoration and new life going forward was something I could not pass up. I have seen several shows at the Orpheum and one of my favorites is MANIA: The ABBA Tribute. I am excited to see what new shows will come to the newly restored Orpheum Theatre!"
