Yesterday, witnessing the joy of parents bonding with their children through art at the Wichita Art Museum’s (Im)Permanent Gallery was truly heartwarming.

Kudos to every parent who took the time to connect and create with their child - it was inspiring to see you foster a sense of wonder and creativity together.

Just a glimpse at a few happy faces who came to Wichita Art Museum to enjoy poetry, coloring in the galleries with Get Ya Color On, dance and a adventurous book sale yesterday at the WAM: Play-Write Family Artventure ! 🖍️🖼️

The pieces colored yesterday were inspired and paid homage to WAM’s (Im)Permanent Gallery!

We are joining the great April Pameticky for poetry writing, the Wichita Public Library book bus for some literary fun and topping things off with mindful coloring with Get Ya Color On Studios!

This will be a fun, FREE family day & a great way to enjoy the Wichita Art Museum this summer!
