The Play Production Class Presents:
The Gas Heart by Tristan Tzara
Directed by Steven Kintner

Synopsis:
The Gas Heart is a Dada piece of theatre written in the 1920s to oppose the commercialization of theatre. It was considered a piece of theatrical blasphemy as it takes place in the aftermath of a civilization that has forgotten how to feel. The Gas Heart unfolds in a wasteland where the only inhabitants are creatures that have learned to impersonate the very essence of human existence—they have memorized our gestures, our words, our rituals—yet they cannot comprehend what drives them.

We hope you come out to audition!!!
