** TEXOMA GIVES - THIS THURSDAY! **

Backdoor Theatre is participating in Texoma Gives on Thursday, September 3rd! This year, we’re raising money for our 2027 Summer Youth Musical, MEAN GIRLS!

Turns out, making fetch happen takes a little more than a Burn Book, a closet full of pink, and avoiding direct eye contact with the Plastics...

The “expensive” part might be a little tongue-in-cheek, but it’s also true. Like just about everything else, the cost of producing live theatre keeps going up!

Performance rights and music, lumber and building materials, costumes, props, and the people we hire to help teach and lead our students all add up.

For Mean Girls, we’re currently projecting almost $10,000 in production expenses alone...all before opening night!

** CRITERIUM RACES HAVE BEGUN! **

Are we qualified to give cycling advice? Absolutely not.

Did that stop us from making signs? Also, absolutely not.

We're ready for this afternoon and evening's criterium races!

Good luck (feels gross to say that!) to all the riders! Please enjoy our helpful words of encouragement as you fly past the theatre!

Hotter'N Hell Hundred

** COMING TO ARSENIC TONIGHT? **

Hotter’N Hell is doing Hotter’N Hell things, and Friday evening’s race is happening right in our neck of the woods!

You CAN get to Backdoor - it may just take a little more patience than usual!

If you’re joining us for tonight's show:
- Please plan to arrive between 6:15–7:15 PM. Please do not arrive before 6:15.
- Carpool if you can! Parking will be VERY limited.
- If you’re able to park farther away and walk, please help us save our limited close parking for patrons with mobility needs.
- You can drop off folks in your party at the Dinner Stage door.
- Backdoor folks will be outside to help with parking and check-in!
- We’ll have our golf cart making the rounds! And a quick note that we do theatre and are not a professional transportation service, so ride at your own risk!

Please take it slow and keep an eye out for the LOTS of cyclists and pedestrians who will be downtown! Check out the map before you head our way, and please share it with anyone joining you Friday night!

We’re excited and grateful to be with the ladies of Impact100 Wichita Falls this evening sharing about what their grant helped us complete! Tonight they are choosing another lucky nonprofit to receive a transformational gift!

Because we were the recipients last year, we were able to get our exterior lighting installed, brand new backlit sign installed, and will be able to complete future beatification projects!

We cannot thank these ladies enough for their support of our local nonprofits!

This cast and crew have spent the last two and a half months creating all of the murder, mayhem, family insanity, and comedy that make this show such a classic!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who grabbed their tickets and continues to show up for live theatre at Backdoor Theatre!

Welcome to the Brewster house and meet the cast of Arsenic and Old Lace!

The family is charming. The neighbors are friendly. The aunts are incredibly hospitable. Maybe just don't drink the elderberry wine...

The entire run is SOLD OUT! We can't wait for our community to see this dark comedy brought to life on the Dinner Stage!

** GIGGLE FACTOR IS BACK! **

Our Youth Improv Troupe is kicking off another round with a workshop on Sunday, September 6th from 3 PM - 6 PM! Backdoor's Youth Improv Troupe is open to 7th - 12th graders!

Whether you're returning to Giggle Factor or have never tried improv before, we'd love to have you! The workshop is donation-based, and no experience is required!

Weekly rehearsals begin September 13th, leading up to our November 14th performance. No pressure to perform! Come play, be silly, build confidence, and have fun!
