Student artwork is starting to arrive at our office, and we are LOVING the creativity! 💙

Through our Picture the Music program, local students are bringing music and visual art together right in their classrooms! This cross-curricular arts experience invites students to listen to Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and translate what they hear into original works of art.

We can't wait to showcase nearly 200 pieces of student artwork in a special gallery at our November 14 concert!

It's exciting to see how music is inspiring creativity and connecting the arts in classrooms across our community!

Great afternoon (as always!) at the 5th Annual ACE Awards presented by Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture! It’s always a great day when we can celebrate all of the people in our community who make this a vibrant place to live.

We are so proud of our finalist, Ms. Barbara Kavanaugh, and the winner of the Outstanding Educator Award, Dr. Matthew Lutrell! 🎶

It's been a while since we've played Rhapsody in Blue! We took a trip down memory lane to find the concert program covers – can you believe the WFSO has only played the iconic Gershwin piece three times in its 79-year history?
