I cut up old t-shirts to make a rag rug and decided to use one of those as a base for a crochet shirt. I didn’t have a pattern, so I’ve been making it up and trying it on as I go along to make it fit. This is quite a process, and I’m regretting it. 😅 I just frogged the whole thing and am starting over to make it fit better. Oh well! Learning from my mistakes.

Finally finished my crochet car set! 😁😮‍💨

I’m so proud of myself….and also exhausted. This took me like a month to finish because I took time to do a couple of other smaller projects for other people (including a partial set for my sister in love!)

I started experimenting with crochet because I’ve always wanted to make granny squares. Yesterday during church, I made my first one! 😱

It’s not perfect, but it’s a start! I’m so excited to keep experimenting and progressing until I can make a whole blanket or cardigan from granny squares. 😁🥰

Also, peep my friend who can’t let me take a normal picture. 😂

I got called off of work tonight so I decided to try my hand at crochet. It’s not too bad, if I do say so myself! 😱

The bottom is my first chain and then I worked my way to the top. In my last few rows, I think I finally figured out how to hold proper tension with my non-dominant hand and count the stitches.

I’m excited to keep trying new things with crochet and possibly make some new products/projects (maybe I’ll finally make some things out of granny squares!) 😍

I haven’t been on here in a while because I haven’t been knitting a whole lot. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Life has been busy.

Today, I’m taking time to slow down, work on my temperature blanket, and enjoy the rain from my back porch. Life can be pretty good if you take the time to notice the little things that bring you joy. 🥰

Happy new year y’all! 🥳

I have a lot of expectations for 2025 but I know that if it’s God’s will, I don’t have to worry about it. I’m still in a weird place knitting-wise where I’m not doing it consistently (which also means I’m only doing it when I feel like it instead of forcing it!)

Today, I’m sure glad I made this thick ! I was so worried it would be too bulky or itchy, but it was perfect when I walked out of work and the 32 degree wind hit me! 😂 I’ll probably be making more of these!
