Whittier Shakes Theater Co Play for real. Founded by a husband and wife duo, offering over a decade of artistic experience.

Nolan and Olivia Carter met while studying acting together at Wheaton College in Illinois. Shakespeare is deeply a part of their legacy: they played Romeo and Juliet opposite each other when they were still just friends. After both completing their graduate degrees in the arts, they got married and moved to Nolan’s hometown of Whittier to start a family and a theater company.

You're invited to our second annual fundraiser for Whittier Shakes Theater Co.!
Enjoy a thought provoking night of theater as we bring you a reading of Arthur Miller's timeless Crucible.
Hosted at The Whittier Brewing Company, this event will include a free beer or wine with each ticket purchased. (Soda will also be available!)
Raffle tickets, summer event info, and exclusive Whittier Shakes merch will be available during the event.
Tickets can be purchased here or day of at the door. We can't wait to see you there!
