Haunted Rose Presents: The Colour out of Space 2020- When it almost seemed certain Halloween would be ruined by the worldwide pandemic, The Haunted Rose pivoted and saved Halloween by producing a 5 minute socially distanced theatrical show of The Colour out of Space. Ran by a cast of 5, The show featured a Arkham street, where guests were introduced to the story by the owner of Caligaries Cabinet Oddities shop played by Christopher Moreno The guests could watch the show in groups of up to six socially distanced, and move around to the front of the yard to view the five minute show featuring The Cursed farm. It featured a voiceover narrative by Curtis who also stared in the show as the water surveyor alongside Ryan Rusin as Nahem Gardner the farmer whos land has been aflicted by a crashed comet that is changing the landscape on his farm. As the account progresses, the well itself takes on a life of its own, emitting a blast of fog and spray. Suddenly, the atmosphere triggers into a kaleidoscopic charge of color and light, blinding Pierce and Gardner, who have come to investigate the well. Without warning, at the window to Gardner’s cabin, a woman appears, mutated and gnarled, grimacing in horrific pain, with tentacles growing out of her! The ghastly scene and ensuring continuation of the Colour escaping in volatile gas prompts Pierce to flee, though Gardner appears to flail in agony, showing signs of whatever infection or infestation has seemingly claimed his family.Big thanks goes to HauntPhotoblography for always capturing the moments! 🥀☄️

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who love Halloween who want to join us in building the biggest Haunted Rose Haunt for our 10th Anniversary 2026 season! In addition to actors, we are looking for show technicians, carpenters, wardrobe, makeup, greeters, and unique performance artists to be an integral part of the team that creates one of the best Haunted Houses in Southern California.
