Current points standings for the Wilson and Son's Limited Late Model Challenge Series - Next points race that counts towards this series is THIS SATURDAY at Whittemore Speedway!

With the season half over a few issues have been brought up. And with two weeks off we thought it would be a good time for a heads up.
#1 NOSE OPENING GRILL RULE:
Width of nose: 82” maximum at wheel flare and no further. Air MUST
travel through nose.(NOT UNDER THE NOSE) Measurements for opening of nose 24” wide x 4 ½” tall or 18” wide x 6” tall.
Aftermarket nose pieces only.

#2 Jericho Transmission are legal. However if caught shifting at anytime its a automatic DQ (black flag) during the race. Will be discussed in 2027 to not allow Jericho or Hightower like Transmissions.

#3 Shocks
Single adjustable shocks only, one sweep type rebound adjuster allowed, high-speed adjustments is not allowed.
B. No canister/bulb type or exotic shocks allowed.

Shocks are not a gray area, shock rule was put on place to keep class as cost-effective as possible and competitive for everyone.

Two rule updates:
Both under body design requirements.

E. Currently reads Rear quarter panels ground clearance behind tire 6in minimum.
Rule will read 8in minimum to match body diagram.

To take some confusion out of body width rule. Rule F will read.

F. Width of nose: 82in maximum at wheel flare and no further back than centerline of front hubs, Max 78in to centerline of rear hubs, gradually to 72in max rear.
Air MUST travel through nose pice. Measurements for opening of nose 24" wide x 4 1/2 tall or 18" wide by 6" tall. Aftermarket nose pieces only.

This what the Whittemore Speedway Club decided last night at the meeting regarding Ignition box rule for 2026. If you any questions I will try to answer them, but it is pretty straightforward. Again Im not arguing with poeple this page is to help get information out a little quicker. Hopefully the complete rule set will be done by end of next week. Remember everyone in the club has day jobs. 🏁
