Hed PE performing their track ‘The Meadow’ on May 26, 2026 in Louisville, Ky. The track is from their second studio album ‘Broke’, released on August 22, 2000.

Spineshank performs their track “Beginning of the End” on May 26, 2026 at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Kentucky. The song is featured in the film Freddy vs. Jason and included on the official soundtrack. I still have the soundtrack that I purchased when it released in 2003. The legendary film Freddy Vs. Jason was released on August 15, 2003.

The celebrated the 25th anniversary of their album The Height of Callousness. I discovered Spineshank on a channel on Dish Network called Music Choice back in 2000 or 2001. They were channels that just streamed music. On this Music Choice channel (for Metal) - I would discover their tracks “Synthetic” and “New Disease”. I would then (at 12-13 years old) go out and purchase (with money I probably begged my mother for) their album The Height of Callousness at a local cd shop called On Cue (they would later change the name to Sam Goody).
