Work has finally started on our new El Michoacano Restaurant in Griffith, IN! A conversion of a former office building, the original structure had stood since the 1960s. However, years of selling off adjacent parcels left the property with no access to the rear. This unusual situation necessitated the removal of the western portion of the building to provide the access needed for the project. Certainly one of the most unusual situations we've run across!

Small Business Advocacy Council's rooftop party was memorable. It's hard to decide what the highlight of the event was. The beautiful garden patio? The views of the riverfront skyline? The great people and conversations? Let's just say, all of the above! On top of that, SBAC is doing great work advocating for the rights of small business owners throughout Chicagoland. Our proposed rendering for the new Goodwill in Hammond, IN!

This project involves the conversion of a portion of a former Walmart into a new Goodwill retail store. The design is intended to give Goodwill an upscale, standalone identity while incorporating landscape elements to soften the building’s appearance and create a more inviting presence.

With construction ready to begin, we’re excited to see this project take shape and transform the existing space into a welcoming new destination for the community.
