🎄🚨 DISNEY JUST ANNOUNCED NEW HOLIDAY OVERLAYS! 🚨🎄

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World this holiday season, Disney just gave us even MORE to be excited about! 🎅✨

🎸 Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is getting a limited-time holiday makeover — appropriately called the “Obligatory Holiday Overlay!” 😂🎄

From November 4 through January 6, The Electric Mayhem will be bringing some extra holiday fun to Hollywood Studios with seasonal music and festive surprises!

🌌 And over at EPCOT, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is joining the Christmas fun too, with new holiday tracks coming for the season! 🎶🎄

And of course, Magic Kingdom will have its returning holiday favorites during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, including holiday twists on attractions like Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Jingle Cruise and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor!

Disney at Christmas is already something special… and they just keep adding more reasons to experience it. ❤️🎄🏰

Disney has always been so much more than a vacation for our family. ❤️

When I look back through all of our pictures from Disney World over the years, I don’t just see trips.

I see our kids growing up.

I see the years when they were little and everything felt magical. When seeing the castle was the biggest deal in the world. When we held little hands through the parks, carried tired kids at the end of a long day, and tried to squeeze in just one more ride before bedtime.

Then I look at the pictures from the next trip… and the next one… and somehow those little faces start changing.

They get taller. A little more independent. The rides they were once too small for become their favorites. The characters change. The things they get excited about change.

And before you know it, you realize you’ve been watching your babies grow up in the same place year after year.

There are so many memories tied to Disney for us. The laughs. The tired feet. The pictures. The inside jokes. The “remember when…” stories that still get told. The moments that probably seemed so ordinary at the time but mean so much to me now.

That’s what I love most about these trips.

It isn’t that every moment was perfect. Trust me, we’ve had our share of tired kids, long days, disagreements, and “everybody smile for ONE picture!” moments. 😂

But we were together.

And the older our kids get, the more I realize just how precious that time has been.

We went to Disney to make memories with our kids.

I just don’t think I realized at the time that one day I would look back and see their entire childhood woven through those memories.

From tiny hands reaching for ours to walking beside us all grown up…

What I wouldn’t give to go back for just one day and hold those little hands again. ❤️

I’m so thankful for every trip, every picture, every memory and every version of our family that has walked through those gates together.

Disney World will always be special to us because, in a way, our kids grew up there.

And we were lucky enough to have a front-row seat. ❤️🏰✨

✨ Happy 55th Anniversary, Walt Disney World! ✨

On October 1, 1971, Walt Disney World officially opened its gates—and 55 years later, the magic is still bringing families together from all over the world. 🏰

It’s more than rides, fireworks and characters. It’s watching your children see Cinderella Castle for the first time. It’s laughing together in line, sharing Mickey-shaped snacks and making memories your family will talk about for years.

We’ve been blessed to experience that magic with our own family, and we love helping other families experience it too. Here’s to 55 years of memories—and all the magical moments still to come! ❤️

Something new is popping up in Liberty Square! 👀

Beginning October 4, The Diamond Horseshoe will debut a limited-time pop-up menu featuring small plates, specialty drinks, cocktails and more!

And if you want to try it, reservations open TONIGHT at 8:00 PM in the My Disney Experience app! ⏰

🤠 A few things on the menu:
• Glazed Sticky Ribs with cowboy beans & jalapeño crisps
• Queso Fundido with BBQ Burnt Ends
• Sweet Golden Corn Fritters with red chili honey
• Chipotle Chicken Tostada
• Charcuterie with cured beef, candied bacon, smoked pork & cheeses
• Mini Hot Dog Platter

🥤 Fun specialty drinks include an Orange Cream Soda, Caramel Root B**r with Sweet Cream, Enchanting Ember Lemonade and Enchanted Grove Lime Splash.

✨ A few Walt Disney World updates you’ll want to know! ✨

🚂 The Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom is now temporarily closed for routine refurbishment. Disney expects it to reopen sometime in November, but an exact date hasn’t been announced.

🐯 Bakso, the beloved Sumatran tiger at Animal Kingdom, will be moving to another accredited zoo later this fall as part of an important conservation program. There’s still time to visit him along the Maharajah Jungle Trek, although animal appearances are never guaranteed.

🎉 Walt Disney World turns 55 this Thursday, October 1! A special anniversary merchandise collection is already available at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom and Creations Shop at EPCOT while supplies last.
