One year ago today, we lost our sweet Remmi Jayms. 💗
There are so many things we miss about her, but most of all, we miss her presence in our studio. There’s an emptiness that is still felt, because Remmi wasn’t just a dancer who walked through our doors—she left a mark here.
One of my last memories of her was during our large production auditions. In typical Staci fashion, I yelled across the room, “OK, Remmi! I see you!” I can still picture her dancing.
But there’s something I don’t remember, and it’s something I’ve struggled with since the day she passed…
When was the last time I hugged her?
We spend so much of our lives worrying about things that, in the end, truly don’t matter. The schedules. The stress. The little things that feel so big in the moment. And then life reminds you what really matters—the people we love, the moments we’re given, and making sure they know just how much they mean to us.
I will never understand why Remmi had to leave us so soon. But one thing I know for sure ~ she left a mark.
She left a mark on our hearts.
She left a mark on our dance floor.
She left a mark in our studio.
And she left a mark on this world that will never be erased.
We miss you, Remmi Jayms. More than words could ever say.
Today, we wear pink. Today, we remember. And today, we SHINE BRIGHT for Remmi Jayms. 💗✨
Hug somebody today.
