I’m honored to be the Guest Host on Echoes of Indiana Avenue with Kyle Long!

This week on Echoes of Indiana Avenue, we're thrilled to welcome guest host Rodney Stepp.

For anyone who calls Naptown home, Stepp needs no introduction. A fixture on the Indianapolis music scene since the 1960s, he's led many Indianapolis bands, including Rapture and The Diplomats.

In the 1970s, Stepp took his gifts to the world stage, touring internationally as keyboardist and assistant music director for the legendary Spinners. He's featured on the group's hit 1975 album "Spinners Live!"

Stepp is also a proud alumnus of Crispus Attucks High School, graduating in 1970 and Vice President of his class.

Join us this week on Echoes of Indiana Avenue was we pay tribute to the Indianapolis gospel songwriter and guitarist M.L. Allen Jr.

We do own the rights to this song. This year voting falls on Tuesday Nov 5, 2024. The jingle was written by James Walker Jr. & Rodney Stepp for Rodney Stepp Music Productions and Brooks Street Music, ASCAP.

Thanks to my band Himlock Muziq, LB Gotsoul, Damon Dillon, Adam Thompson and my Musical Director Pheldon J. Majors II. The concert was awesome and we are looking forward to this years Holiday On The Ave-Soul R***e. We have an all new lineup and fantastic show for 2024. Good Sunday Morning! All That I Needed and More was written by my cousin Mike Simmons. Erica Stewart aka Erica Edmonds recorded this song for her album Starts With A Dream on Higher Power Records.
