Village Dance Studio Village Dance Studio began in 1977 and has been teaching dance to the Zionsville & surrounding community ever since.

Our mission is to provide quality dance education to the community in a supportive and inclusive environment. The Village Dance Studio has offered dance education in the Zionsville area for over 40 years. Dance classes are suitable for preparation for the performing or teaching field, but also designed for the student who has no professional ambition in dance but wants exercise, grace, poise, conf

idence, and movement ability. Emphasis is placed on correctness while at the same time presenting a fun dance experience.

Here at VDS, we are proud to be one of the studios in the Indy area that offers adaptive dance classes for individuals with disabilities. Our adaptive dance teacher, Laura Nolan, would appreciate your input. She is conducting research on adaptive dance in Central Indiana in order to better understand what adaptive dance programs already exist along with what dance studios, families, and caregivers want from adaptive dance programs. Whether you are a family member of someone with a disability, a VDS volunteer, a teacher, or a parent of a dancer, your perspective on adaptive dance is valuable!

Our Ensemble & Apprentice dancers have been spending August learning Nutcracker choreography. 🩰🎄 We use this transition month for Nutcracker "bootcamp", keep in shape classes, & costume fittings. Only 110 days until we hit the stage!
