As I sit here today feeling stressed and overwhelmed, the creative block has settled in. Nothing seems to be hitting. Nothing seems to be working in this mind of mine.

So instead of forcing it, I typed out the name where my peace comes from:

JESUS.

I started messing around with different textures and overlays, not really knowing what I was looking for. Then I landed on this one, and for some reason, I stopped.

I just stared at His name through all the noise and texture.

And it made me think.

This texture feels a lot like life sometimes. There’s so much noise layered on top of everything, stress, work, finances, responsibilities, uncertainty, comparison, and the pressure of trying to figure out what comes next.

Before we know it, all of that noise starts pulling our focus away from the One who gives us peace.

But His name is still there.

Behind the noise.
Behind the stress.
Behind the uncertainty.

JESUS.

Maybe the noise doesn’t always have to disappear for us to find peace. Maybe we just need to fix our eyes back on the One who has been there the whole time.

Today, I needed that reminder.
