This is what it looks like to rethink live events. 🔋☀️

For three full days across four venues in downtown Whitefish, Westland Impact Festival will be powered by a suite of transportable batteries from our partner, New Use Energy (NUE)—creating a live demonstration of what’s possible when innovation meets action.

⚡ 3 days
⚡ 3 x 14-hour festival days
⚡ 4 venues
⚡ Powered without relying on the grid

The batteries will travel directly from a Google event in San Francisco to Whitefish, then recharge on-site through our Festival Solar Pavilion, with panels provided by local partner Northstone Solar.

This isn’t just a festival powered differently.
It’s a living demonstration of a new standard in live event production.

This moment says a lot about where it all began.

Anderson Rosenthal sharing the vision behind Project Winterland during the 2024 Impact Festival in conversation with The Roadcast—a platform exploring art, design, innovation, and the people shaping what’s next.

A gathering built on story, purpose, and the belief that people coming together can create something meaningful.

That vision continues in Westland.

Creativity isn’t only about what we make—

It’s also about how we choose to make it.

We’re building something meaningful together, and it starts with the stories we choose to share.

The stories of the natural world are often also stories about us—About identity, belonging, and the landscapes that shape who we become.

Today’s featured film: 𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨: 𝘼𝙣 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮

𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨: 𝘼𝙣 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮, directed by 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗮 and narrated by Academy Award-winner 𝗝𝗲𝗳𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀, follows the stunning journey of wolves and other animals as co-travelers through American history—from the shores of England to the birth of a new republic and the colonization of the vast landscapes of the modern American West. Produced by 𝗝𝗶𝗺 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗳𝘁, 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗿𝘀𝗰𝗵, and 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗮, the film explores how animals have long reflected a deeper story of who we are as a nation—and who we might yet become.

We’re building something meaningful together, and it starts with the stories we choose to share.
