McAlester Theatre is excited to announce auditions for Disney’s Descendants! Step into the world of Auradon and the Isle of the Lost as we bring this high-energy, music-filled production to the stage this summer.

Who can audition: Ages 10–21
Auditions: Saturday, June 20th
Location: LifeChurch
Callbacks: Tuesday, June 23rd

Performance Dates:
July 31- August 2, 2026

Recital 2026 was a HUGE success! Our best one yet! ❤️
Qnd that backdrop?! Amazing and beautiful! Thank you again Renewed Creations by Savannah! You took my vision and elevated it perfectly! Kylee Jo Horton absolutely rocked our programs again for the 3rd year in a row!! Thank you so much!

I couldn't be more proud of all my dancers. They were absolutely amazing! This year, we had 18 third-year students, 13 second-year students, and 15 first-year students, for a total of 46 dancers! That's the most students I've ever had by recital time, and that is such an incredible blessing. 🥹

To all of my assistants, helpers, dance moms, and everyone who pitched in behind the scenes, you were amazing. Thank you for everything you did to help make this recital such a success.

And thank you all so much for the thoughtful gifts, flowers, kind words, and support. It truly meant the world to me. Ya'll totally spoiled me!

And oh my goodness, I almost completely lost it on stage during Miss Averi's speech & the standing ovation. ❤️ Every bit of it warmed my heart more than you'll ever know.

Most of all, I give God all the glory. None of this would be possible without Him, my family, and all of you.

I hope to see many of you back next season! I'm already working on next year's recital theme, and I am SO excited for what's ahead. 🤗

Very Happy Birthday to this little girl! She's growing up so fast! It has been a joy to have gotten to be her dance teacher for 3 years. I pray she always remembers to let her light shine bright for God! We love you Rylee and hope your birthday is a great one! ❤️

Happy Happy Happy Birthday to our Sage girl! Sage is always doing something to make me giggle and brighten up my day! She's a sweetheart with a little bit of sass. We couldn't love her more. Hope you have a fantastic birthday, Sage! ❤️

A great BIG Happy Birthday to this sweetie pie!! She makes us smile and laugh everytime we are around her! It has been such a joy to be her dance teacher these last 3 years.
Fun Fact: She gives the best hugs ever if you happen to see her at Rubens Mexican restaurant 😂

May the 4th be with Miss Maggie on her special day today!
This girl is so talented and is always willing for us to do stunt experiences. We've only dropped her once 🫣😂
Maggie also helps me out with one of our Broadway Babies classes on Wednesdays before her class.

Happy Birthday to the only baby I've ever had the privilege of getting to see born!
Joe is Hwy 9's honorary dancer 😆. He comes and hangs out with us every Wednesday while his sister, Kyler, is in her dance class.
