As we get ready to enter a new school year, we are in the midst of starting a Booster Club to better support our program. That means we need volunteers! (While we would love for this to be parents of students currently in the program, we are also open to community members who would like to see our program thrive.)
If you're interested in these opportunities, please contact Mrs. McGill by this Friday, August 7th.

To the class of 2026,

Let me start by saying that it's been an honor to teach you, grow alongside you, and watch you grow into real adults. While there are so many things I hoped you learned in our little corner, there are a few lessons I hope you hold onto.

1. Life is full of disappointment, and you might hear "No" more often than not. But I hope you've learned to handle it with grace, and that sometimes "No" just means "Not yet" because something better is coming.

2. Life sucks, and then it gets better, and then it sucks again, and that's ok. Because you are strong. You've learned to adapt, improvise, and overcome. You can do the hard things, and you cannot grow if you don't fail.

And 3. Your art is important (Thanks Jackson). Don't lose sight of that. If your next step is onstage, backstage, or no where near a stage, don't stop telling your story.

Thank you for calling Cass High Theatre home, whether you've been here the entire time, or you found us when you needed it, I'm so thankful for the family you've helped create.

Now, I love you, I'm proud of you, and in whatever comes next, break a leg.

With graduation finally here, Troupe 1850 is proud to call Cass High's 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian Thespians!

Salutatorian Anniston Shultz joined the theatre department her junior year, stepping into an ensemble role in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Her senior year brought her back for the fall mainstage and spring musical, where she shined as Jack's Mother in Into the Woods.

Valedictorian Jackson Armona has been a constant star on the Cass stage. He's stepped into an array of roles in one acts, full- length plays, and musicals, taking his final bow as Baker in Into the Woods. His consistent dedication to our program has earned him the distinction of Honors Thespian, recognizing over 600 hours spent creating Theatre. He plans to continue his pursuit of theatre at the University of Georgia in the fall.

We've loved our chance to work with two extremely talented students, and can't wait to see them do great things.

Opening night was a huge success! You have 2 more chances to see Into the Woods, today and tomorrow at 7:00 pm!

Quick notes:
*Ticket sales are card only. (Keep in mind that credit card processing fees still apply, and I have no control over them.)
*We are selling concessions (soda, baked goods, and popcorn). Concessions sales are cash or cash app only.
