What a spectacular night in Shanghai!

🎭✨ We were thrilled by the packed house and deeply moved by the profound audience reactions at our screening of Timofey Kulyabin’s striking stage-to-screen production of Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece, Long Day's Journey Into Night.

Local theatergoers and film buffs were completely transfixed, sharing some incredibly articulate insights:

👉 "From the very first minute, your attention is gripped..."
👉 "A tremendously powerful tension..."
👉 "The juxtaposition of past flashbacks with the present adds even more layers of nuance."

By brilliantly framing O'Neill's classic story around an elderly youngest son in a sterile, modern space, Kulyabin and writer Roman Dolzhanskiy have crafted a visually arresting and emotionally devastating cinematic theatre experience that clearly struck a major chord with the Shanghai audience.
