Greetings Everyone!! My name is Cassandra (Cassie) Duffy, and I’m so excited to be apart of the Dance South community💕

My journey in dance started over 16 years ago here at Dance South. A community and environment that allowed me to grow beyond my expectations as an individual through amazing training and performance  opportunities; Tennessee Associate of Dance, Jazz on Tap, Joffrey Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and more!!

These opportunities encouraged me to pursue a higher education with Western Kentucky University’s Dance Program. Where I’ve gained professional training in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern with additional training in improvisation, choreography, dance pedagogy, dance anatomy and kinesiology, and dance history. Upon receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance with a performing arts administration minor I returned to Dance South in hopes to share these skills I have acquired to the next generation!!

I am incredibly proud of our students and the community we have created!! I look forward to seeing all of the progress our dancers will accomplish this year🥰

TEACHER TUESDAY 🫶🏻

Hey Everyone! I’m Andrea 😊.
This is my first year at Dance South, and my twelfth year as a dance instructor. I started my dance education at age 4 and was fortunate enough to train under some of the most amazing teachers and choreographers at various studios, conventions, workshops, and intensives.
My family and I live in Lebanon, TN. I have two beautiful children named Beaux and Collins, and have been married to my husband Isaiah for four years. We are currently expecting a new baby girl to add to our clan December 2026.
I am so excited to share my love for dance with the Dance South community! It brings me joy to see the constant progress and growth of each and every one of our young dancers. I’m looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to see what the season brings ❤️

TEACHER TUESDAY 🫶🏻

Hi family!! I’m so excited to be back at the studio that has been such a huge part of my life. 💗

I grew up dancing at Dance South and spent 16 years training here. That was truly where my love for dance began, and throughout those years I was fortunate enough to continue my training through opportunities with American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, the Rockettes, Tennessee Association of Dance, Jazz on Tap, Florida State University, and more.

After graduating high school, I took my love for both dance and aviation to Auburn University, where I majored in Aviation Management while also taking classes toward a dance minor.

Although my career took me into the aviation world, dance has always been a huge part of who I am. Coming back to Dance South and getting to share what I’ve learned with the next generation of dancers feels like coming full circle. 🥹💕

I’m so excited to be back in the studio, creating, learning, and dancing alongside our dancers. Once a Dance South dancer, always a Dance South dancer! 💗✨

TEACHER TUESDAY 🫶🏻

Hi everyone! I’m Aubrey! ✨ My dance journey started at Dance South, where I spent 15 incredible years training and making lifelong friends. Today, I’m in my 4th year teaching here, and my heart is just so full! Working with our young dancers brings me so much happiness! There is nothing quite like watching a child’s face light up when a new step finally clicks or seeing them leap out of class with the biggest smile. I adore these kids and feel beyond lucky to be a small part of their dance journey. So grateful to pour into the studio that gave so much to me! 🩰✨ 💕

TEACHER TUESDAY 🫶🏻

I’m Leah! This is my second year teaching at Dance South. I began taking classes at Dance South at age 3 and as I grew my passion for dance grew even more. I was fortunate enough to attend workshop classes at Universal Studios and Disney World. Going to several workshops and conventions allowed me to learn from many amazing teachers. My teachers at the studio also truly inspired me. They poured so much into me throughout the years. All of these leaders in my life inspired me to become a dance teacher. I find so much joy in seeing dancers learn and grow. Watching the pride they feel after learning something new is one of my favorite things. My goal is to be as positive and influential to my students as my teachers were to me!

🩰Ready to dip your toes into the competition world? Company II is the perfect next step for dancers ready to elevate their training without overwhelming your family's schedule!

✨Designed for Ages 5+ (Kindergarten–8th Grade), Company II offers the thrill of competitive dance in a supportive, low-stress environment.

Focused Growth: Dedicated Conservatory classes with optional (but encouraged) Summer Enrichment.
Low Commitment: Just 2 required competitions, no travel over 2 hours from Nashville, and no extra weekly rehearsals (only one Saturday dress rehearsal!).
Simple Pricing: $50 yearly fee, 1–2 routines per competition, and costumes included in your Dance South recital fee.
