"Pillow Talk" is a charming romantic comedy where a feisty decorator and a smooth-talking songwriter clash over a shared phone line--until sparks of a different kind fly. Full of wit, style, and classic Hollywood flair, itโs a playful tale of love, lies, and unexpected connection.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Prepared monologues are not required.

Character Breakdown (some of these roles may be doubled at director's discretion):
Jan Morrow: Late 20s-early 30s. A successful but romantically frustrated New York interior decorator who shares a party telephone line with a very irritating stranger.
Brad Allen: 30s-40s. A charming, womanizing songwriter who monopolizes the shared phone line and invents a fake identity to win Jan over.
Jonathan Forbes: 30s-40s. A wealthy, high-strung friend of Brad who secretly carries a torch for Jan.
Alma: 40s-60s. Janโs blunt, slightly tipsy housekeeper who offers sharp commentary on her employerโs love life.
Pierot: 30s-50s. The flamboyant host or owner of a fashionable nightclub.
Mrs. Walters: 50s-70s. Tonyโs talkative and meddlesome mother who inserts herself into everyoneโs business.
Tony Walters: 20s-30s. A police officer who becomes involved in the growing misunderstandings around Jan and Brad.
Marie: 20s-30s. One of Bradโs glamorous girlfriends.
Eileen: 20s-30s. Another stylish woman in Bradโs revolving social circle.
Yvette: 20s-30s. A sophisticated woman often seen in Bradโs nightlife scene.
Miss Conrad: 30s-50s. A professional associate or client connected to Janโs decorating work.
Supervisor: 30s-60s. A telephone company official dealing with complaints about the shared party line.
Miss Dickenson: 30s-60s. A neighbor or acquaintance who adds to the buildingโs social bustle.
Policeman: 30s-50s. An officer who appears during the chaos surrounding Bradโs schemes.
Bessie: 30s-60s. A household worker or attendant appearing briefly in social or domestic scenes.
Mrs. Frost: 40s-70s. A society woman or neighbor in Janโs broader social circle.
Mrs. Ames: 40s-70s. Another neighbor or acquaintance from the apartment community.
Graham: 30s-50s. A man connected to the nightclub or social scene.
Girl in Club: 20s-30s. A performer or patron helping bring the nightclub environment to life.
Tilda: 30s-60s. A small role often portrayed as a maid, attendant, or acquaintance.
Ann: 20s-30s. Another woman connected to Bradโs lively social life.
Telephone Operator (voice only): Any adult voice assisting callers on the party line.
Man (voice only): Any adult voice briefly heard over the shared telephone line.
