🌰 A Little Detour from the Craft Room… 🌰

I’ve been busy working on paper mache the last few days, but this weekend I took a little break to gather and trim my pecan tree.

One thing I did NOT know before… fresh pecans and their hulls will apparently stain your hands!

So now, in addition to working on Halloween creations, I’m sporting some lovely pecan-colored fingers.

You learn something new every day!

Back to the craft room soon… once my hands stop looking like I dipped them in coffee! Picture is after I did dishes by hand...TWICE😂😂😂

While I’m busy behind the scenes working on some new designs, I thought I’d take a little trip back through some of my recent creations and share a few of my favorites with you. ❤️

Each one was designed and handcrafted by me, and I truly love seeing an idea come to life from the very beginning to the finished piece.

🎃 A New Little Pumpkin at B Avenue Designs! 🎃

I finished this little guy today, and I just LOVE how he turned out! 🧡

I started with a primitive fabric pumpkin, which I hand-stitched with his eyes, nose, and that sweet little crooked smile. I then created his striped fabric top hat, added his little bowtie, and attached him to an antique bed spring for that extra touch of vintage character.

He has so much personality—and definitely feels right at home with primitive and farmhouse décor. 🖤

I think he may be one of my favorites!
