Evergreen Aquatic Center

Evergreen Aquatic Center EAC is an indoor swimming pool that is open all year long! We offer swimming lessons, water exercise classes, public & lap swims. Scholarships available.

The Evergreen Community Pool is a beautiful facility located next to the Evergreen High School campus and Athletic Fields, at the south end of White Center. The pool has nine 25 yard lanes allowing for simultaneous lessons, lap swims and swim team activities. There is a large patio perfect for entertaining large groups and for special events. King County operated this Forward Thrust pool until it

was forced to close due to budget cuts on August 31, 2009. The pool was turned over to the Highline School District who leased it to the not for profit group WhiteWater Aquatics Management which is a 501 (c)(3) corporation.

Yes you might have noticed the construction! We are making way with replacing our windows! Did you know these windows have been around for longer than two decades? Maybe three!

Construction is scheduled to be done around the end of the month but is subject to change. Thank you for your patience at this time.

We are excited to announce that the Employees Community Fund of Boeing - Puget Sound Chapter (ECF) has awarded Evergreen Aquatic Center a $20,900 grant to support a major boiler room renovation project.

This funding will allow us to install new storage and expansion tanks, replace aging pumps and piping, as well as improve the overall reliability of our heating system. These upgrades will support the continued efforts to maintain a consistent pool temperature. As a result, it will ensure our tanks decrease the likelihood of running out of hot water for our showers and faucets.

The ECF has been a tremendous supporter of our mission over the years, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued partnership. Thank you, ECF, for making this important project possible and for your ongoing support of our community!

We’re excited to share an important facility upgrade at Evergreen Aquatic Center!

Our previous hot water boilers had failed, leading to inconsistent shower temperatures for guests. Thanks to the generous support of the Ellison Foundation, three new hot water boilers have now been installed, providing reliable and consistent hot water throughout the facility.

We’re incredibly grateful for community partners who help make improvements like this possible.

And as a friendly reminder: please take a quick shower before entering the pool to help us maintain water quality for everyone.
