The Capitol Theatre in Wheeling, West Virginia, is far more than just a historic concert venue—it's the spiritual and foundational home of the Wheeling Jamboree (originally the WWVA Jamboree / Jamboree USA). for Jamboree fans, stepping inside still carries that special feeling — you're standing in the very place where country music history was made on Saturday nights, where the radio show met its live audience and created memories that have lasted generations. In short: Other acts come and go as part of the Capitol's busy calendar, but the Wheeling Jamboree is woven into the building's DNA in a way no other production is. It's not just a venue the Jamboree once used — it's where the Jamboree truly became the live legend that so many of us grew up with.
