To promote West Virginia’s unique and growing industry of craft and microbreweries

To educate the public on the quality of these beer products produced within West Virginia by providing a means to sample product from and to interact with associates and brew masters from these breweri

es. To provide the best in Entertainment, Food, and Merchandise from West Virginia’s Northern Panhandle all within a relaxed atmosphere. To encourage community, tourism, and growth within the city of Wheeling by:
- Working with local officials and businesses to provide a sustainable event
- By donating festival proceeds to local charities

🍻 And just like that… that’s a wrap on Mountaineer Brewfest 2026.

The kegs are kicked. Heritage Port is cleaned up. The tents are down. And the committee has gathered at the 19th Hole for our annual post-Brewfest brunch- to recap the weekend, tell a few stories, laugh about the things that only we know happened behind the scenes, and celebrate another festival in the books. 😂

After months of planning, it’s always a little strange how quickly it all comes and goes.

There will be plenty more to share- and a proper thank-you to all of the sponsors, brewers, volunteers, vendors, musicians and people who showed up and made yesterday what it was. But today?

We’re tired. We’re happy. And Brewfest #12 is officially in the books. 🍻

We’ve got one more addition to today’s lineup—and this one is brand new to Mountaineer Brewfest!

Help us give a big Brewfest welcome to Bad Shepherd Beer Company, joining us at Heritage Port for the very first time! 👏🍺

They may not be on the festival guide or the brewery graphics you’ve been seeing, but they’ll be here today, pouring alongside 19 other incredible breweries and getting their first taste of what Brewfest is all about.

We’re always excited to welcome a new brewery into the mix, and we hope this is the first of many trips to Wheeling for Bad Shepherd.

The wait is over — Mountaineer Brewfest is TODAY! Before you head to Heritage Port, here are a few last-minute reminders to make your day easy:

⏰ KNOW YOUR ENTRY TIME
⭐ VIP gates open at 3:00 PM
🍺 General Admission gates open at 4:00 PM
🕙 Festival ends at 10:00 PM | Last call at 9:30 PM

🪪 DON’T FORGET YOUR ID
A valid photo ID is required for entry — no exceptions. Brewfest is 21+ only.

🎟️ HAVE YOUR TICKET READY
Pull it up on your phone before you reach the gate so you’re ready to go. Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. If you’re still planning to buy at the gate, availability is not guaranteed.

After months of planning, countless meetings, plenty of behind-the-scenes work, and a whole lot of people coming together to make it happen… the 12th Annual Mountaineer Brewfest is HERE!

Today, Heritage Port fills up with West Virginia craft beer, live music, great food, familiar faces, new favorites, and thousands of people ready to spend a summer Saturday drinking for a good cause.

This committee has been working toward this day for a long time, and now we finally get to enjoy it with all of you.

🍺 The beer is cold.
🎶 The stage is ready.
💛 The Wheeling YMCA is our cause.
📍 Heritage Port is the place to be.
