Established in 1967, Parcel Players predates Oglebay Institute purchasing the Towngate. Oglebay Institute’s summer theater program for students ages 12 through college, will present two plays again this summer.

2015 Parcel Players productions include:

“Telling Wilde Tales,” an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s fairy tales by Jules Tasca. It calls for a cast of 25, is directed by Dave Henderson and is

in production July 15-18.

“Fools,” a comic fable by Neil Simon set in 19th century Russian Territory about a teacher who falls in love with his pupil. It calls for a cast of 7 males and 3 females, is directed by Tim Thompson and is in production Aug. 5-8. All those interested in exploring theater and participating in the Parcel Players’ productions are invited to participate.
