🏴‍☠️🎨 Calling all creative minds, painters, builders, and future backstage legends! 🎨🏴‍☠️

Ever wondered who creates the magical worlds you see on stage? Now’s your chance to help bring one to life!

In Set Design: Treasure Island, students will get hands-on experience designing and creating real stage scenery for our summer camp performances. Learn the basics of set painting, lighting, backdrop creation, and theatrical design while working as part of a creative production team. 🌊🪵✨

This is the PERFECT class for students who love art, creativity, theater, building, or working behind the scenes. No acting required!

🏝 Ages 10 – Adult
📅 June 22–26
⏰ Morning Session: 10:00 am – Noon
⏰ Afternoon Session: 12:30 – 3:30 pm

🎭 Sets created in class will be used in live performances on:
June 26 @ 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm

⚔️🎭 Ready to learn how to fight like a hero (or villain) on stage?! 🎭⚔️

Our Stage Combat Showcase is back this summer — and it is going to be EPIC.

Students will learn safe and exciting stage combat techniques from different styles and genres while working on scenes that lead to a live showcase performance at the end of the week!

🗡 Zorro-style fencing
👑 King Arthur sword fighting
🏹 Robin Hood staff fighting
🕷 Hobbit-inspired combat
🤠 Wild West hand-to-hand fighting

This class is open to ages 12 through adults and is perfect for actors who want to add action, confidence, choreography, and storytelling to their performance skills.

We’ve got something for everyone this summer — whether your student wants to sing Broadway songs, tell spooky stories around a campfire, learn stage combat, build incredible sets, explore creative drama, or put fairytale villains on trial! 👑⚔️🔥🎶

Our camps are designed to give students a fun theater experience without needing to commit to an entire summer production. Many camps are just one week long and end with a live performance or showcase! 💙

Were the fairytale villains actually evil… or just having a really bad day? 👀🧙‍♀️🐺🍎

In Fairytale Villains on Trial, students will put famous villains on the stand and decide once and for all if they’re truly wicked… or completely misunderstood!

This fun one-week theater camp includes acting, comedy, costumes, characters, and a full performance at the end of the week! Perfect for kids who want a summer theater experience without committing all summer long. 💥

⚖️ TWO AGE GROUPS:
🧙 Ages 8–12

🖤 Ages 12–18+

Our Creative Drama class is the PERFECT way for kids ages 5–8 to jump into theater fun without a huge time commitment!

Kids will explore acting through stories, movement, costumes, crafts, games, and imagination — and the best part? They’ll still get a fun performance experience at the end!

🎬 5 week session
📅 Tuesdays: June 2–30

Our beloved Cindy stepped onstage for one performance of A Charming Cinderella Story and audiences absolutely loved it. Between the hilarious fairy tale chaos, magical mishaps, and incredible cast, this show has been such a joy from beginning to end. 🎭✨

👑✨ FINAL WEEKEND for A Charming Cinderella Story! ✨👑

This hilarious fairytale mash-up has been making audiences laugh all month, and you still have ONE more weekend to catch the chaos, magic, bad decisions, and happily-ever-afters! 🐱🪄👠

And yes… our youngest audience member loved the show so much that he stood up during the performance and asked if he could go onstage. 😂❤️ Honestly? We get it. That’s exactly why we do what we do.

At Colorado ACTS, we’re raising up the next generation of actors, storytellers, dreamers, and theater kids. Programs like this give kids a place to belong, create, build confidence, and fall in love with the arts. We need our community’s support to keep making that possible.

Our Spring Season closes this weekend with "A Charming Cinderella Story" - a silly fractured retelling of Cinderella. Our Summer Season is coming! Our Friends and Family production of "Wizard of Oz" starts June 6. Creative Drama also starts June 6. Our first Summer Camp, "Fairytales Villains on Trial" starts June 8. 🪄 A Charming Cinderella Story opens THIS weekend at Colorado ACTS… and trust us, this is not your typical Cinderella story. Between fairy godmothers with questionable decision-making skills, mistaken identities, magic spells gone wrong, and a kingdom spiraling into hilarious chaos… this show is packed with laughs, heart, and surprises! ✨🐭👑

And even more exciting… we have some very special ACTS alumni returning to the stage for this production! 💙 If you’ve been part of the ACTS family over the years, you are definitely going to want to see some familiar faces back under the lights again.
