The Wharton Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the 250th Freedom Fest Celebration such a tremendous success.

To our incredible volunteers, dedicated sponsors, talented entertainers, hardworking vendors, classic car owners, parade participants, first responders, city and county employees, civic organizations, and the hundreds of community members who came together to celebrate, thank you. Your time, generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit created an unforgettable evening that truly showcased the best of Wharton.

Events like Freedom Fest don’t happen because of one organization, they happen because an entire community comes together with a shared purpose. Whether you donated your time, sponsored an activity, served on a committee, set up booths, cleaned up afterward, or simply came out to celebrate with family and friends, you played an important role in making this event a success.

Wharton is more than just a place on the map. It is a community built on service, pride, and neighbors helping neighbors. Every smiling volunteer, every local business that gave back, every family that attended, and every participant who joined in the festivities reminded us why Wharton is such a special place to call home.

Thank you for helping us celebrate America’s 250th birthday in a way that reflected the heart and spirit of our own community. You are what makes Wharton the wonderful place it is, and we are proud to serve alongside each of you.

Afjrotc Wharton

With sincere appreciation🇺🇸

History is being made!

A huge thank you to Camille Mund for agreeing to be part of Wharton’s contribution to America’s 300th Birthday Celebration in 2076!

Camille was born in Wharton and has called our community home since she was six years old. In 2076, when America celebrates its 300th birthday, Camille will be 76 years old, a wonderful connection between our community’s past, present, and future.

If you didn’t get a chance to sign the commemorative poster during our 250th Celebration, there’s still time! Stop by the Wharton Chamber of Commerce and add your name to this special piece of history.

Thank you, Camille, for helping preserve this moment for future generations! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Last night, our 250th Celebration in beautiful downtown Wharton was an incredible success!

At the end of the evening, we asked for a few volunteers to help pick up tables, chairs, and trash. What happened next was nothing short of amazing. In record time, everything was cleaned up!

Thank you to every person who stayed to lend a hand. You could have packed up and gone home, but instead, you chose to serve our community.

That spirit of teamwork and generosity is what makes Wharton so special. Volunteers are the backbone of great events, and because of you, our celebration ended just as beautifully as it began.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. ❤️🤍💙

We truly believe the greatest people live right here in Wharton!
